Litton Wins Contract on Venezuelan Frigates

Litton Industries has been awarded a $315-million contract by the Venezuelan government to overhaul and modernize two of the country’s navy frigates.
Litton’s Ingalls Shipbuilding subsidiary will handle the project.
Ingalls has been a major designer and builder of some of the U.S. Navy’s newest naval warships, and it has been a major military and commercial shipbuilder for six decades.
Litton Industries, based in Woodland Hills, is a major defense contractor.
