The San Clemente developer of devices for the diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases said it lost $1.9 million, or 29 cents a share, for the second quarter, compared with a net loss of $1.1 million, or 26 cents a share, a year ago. Sales rose 97% to $639,329 from $324,541. For the first half, the company lost $3.7 million, or 61 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $2.3 million, or 62 cents a share, for the 1996 first half. Sales more than doubled to $1.1 million from $557,454. The company completed its initial public offering in February.
