Highland 38, Quartz Hill 21--Camy Smith completed 20 of 27 for 251 yards and four touchdowns for the Bulldogs (5-3, 2-1) at Highland.

Highland rallied from a 14-0, first-quarter deficit after Rebel tailback Hiram Johnson scored on runs of 17 and 43 yards. Johnson, who rushed for 147 yards in 17 carries, also scored on a 22-yard run in the second quarter.

Smith completed passes to seven receivers, including touchdown throws to Brian Floyd (62 yards), Michael Deleon (19 yards), Dan Bruton (four yards) and David Illingworth (26 yards).

Kevin Morris opened Highland’s scoring with an 88-yard kickoff return in the first quarter.
