Residents Can Load Up on Sandbags at Museum

The Los Alamitos Historical Museum will provide free sandbags to residents from 1 to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Sundays in December and January.
Each resident can take six bags. Emergency-preparedness literature also is available.
Volunteers are giving out the bags to help residents prepare for predicted heavy storms brought on by El Nino weather conditions.
