Woman in Crash Last Week Dies of Injuries

A 35-year-old Thousand Oaks woman has died of injuries she sustained last week in a traffic accident.
Kristine Fearon died at 6:15 p.m. Monday at Columbia Los Robles Hospital due to head and stomach injuries, said Jim Wingate, a spokesman for the Ventura County coroner.
Fearon was hospitalized Sept. 24 after the pickup truck she was driving was broadsided by a dump truck at the intersection of Avenida de Los Arboles and the Moorpark Freeway off-ramp, officials said.
Fearon was thrown from her car. The dump truck driver--22-year-old Shannon Richards of Simi Valley-- was not injured.
Traffic investigators are still trying to determine who was at fault.
