SANTA FE LEAGUE
La Salle 49, St. Genevieve 0--Senior quarterback David Taylor rushed for four touchdowns and passed for two more for host La Salle (4-0, 1-0).
Tailback Clifford Rivera rushed for 37 yards in 17 carries for the overmatched Valiants (0-4, 0-1), who were outgained, 399-80.
Operating out of the single-wing formation, Taylor carried 13 times for 172 yards, scoring on runs of 24, 36, two and 71 yards.
