Western Bancorp Merger Complete

NEWPORT BEACH — Western Bancorp said it has completed its merger with SC Bancorp.
Under the merger transaction, Western Bancorp said it will issue about 3.5 million of its common shares to SC Bancorp shareholders.
Western Bancorp said it intends to merge its National Bank of Southern California unit into its Southern California Bank unit during the fourth quarter.
