2 of 3 Solar Panels on Mir Hooked Up

Cosmonauts hooked up two of three solar panels during a marathon “internal spacewalk” through a damaged part of the Mir space station--an effort that should help boost the station’s power supply. But Anatoly Solovev and Pavel Vinogradov failed to make the final connection needed to send computer signals that would align the third panel with the sun.
