Highlights from the New York auction of the Sharp collection, expected to fetch about $60 million on Nov. 12, include a reclining nude by Amedeo Modigliani, a still life by Henri Matisse, several works by Pablo Picasso and sculpture by Alexander Archipenko, Alexander Calder and Aristide Maillol. Also on display are works by Bill Traylor, a self-taught artist, and a group of medieval enamels and contemporary artworks consigned to fall sales.
