3 Robbers Empty Tills at Credit Union

Three armed robbers stormed a credit union Thursday, but no shots were fired and there were no injuries, Anaheim police said.
About 12:20 p.m., three men armed with handguns entered the Cal-Cen Federal Credit Union, 1149 N. Gilbert St., Sgt. Joe Vargas said.
The men jumped over the counter and emptied the cash tills before fleeing in a gray early-1980s Oldsmobile Cutlass, Vargas said.
Vargas said the method of the robbery resembles four others in the city this year, and may also be linked to recent bank robberies in Buena Park and Garden Grove.
