* Update--After two rocky outings, Dickson appeared to rebound in his last start against Detroit on Sunday. The rookie right-hander gave up three runs in the first inning, two on Tony Clark’s homer, but held the Tigers scoreless until the sixth, when he gave up Travis Fryman’s solo homer. Two of Dickson’s best games this season have also come against Kansas City--a three-hitter with no walks and seven strikeouts in an 11-1 victory April 20, and a seven-inning, one-run, six-hit, no-walk performance in a 6-2 victory June 10.
