Chadwick 29, St. Genevieve 7--Shawn Garhan rushed for 152 yards in 26 carries for the Valiants in a nonleague loss at Chadwick.

Cliff Rivera rushed for 103 yards in 20 carries, including a 37-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter for the Valiants.

St. Genevieve, which fell behind, 28-0, allowed all four Chadwick touchdowns on big plays.

The Dolphins connected on pass plays of 24 and 40 yards and scored on runs of 46 and 20 yards.

St. Genevieve crossed the 50-yard line on six of eight possessions.

“They never drove on us once,” St. Genevieve Coach Steve Page said. “It’s very frustrating, considering we moved the ball up and down the field and self-destructed inside the 20-[yard line].”
