Adrienne Wilson, a sophomore at Huntington Beach High School, was one of 12 winners chosen from more than 1,000 entries in the Affordable Housing Management Assn.’s Drug-Free Kid contest.
The 11th annual contest is designed to encourage young residents of affordable housing to stay away from drugs. Youths from affordable housing communities throughout the Pacific Southwest participated in the contest.
Winners were chosen based on originality, quality and overall artistic ability in interpreting the contest’s theme, “I’ve got it together.”
