Update--Colorado lost its opener to the Dallas Burn, 2-1, in a shootout, then defeated San Jose, 3-2, in another shootout on strong goalkeeping by Marcus Hanhemann. In accordance with a new FIFA rule banning tackling from behind, winger Chris Henderson was red-carded in the game against the Clash for making such a tackle against Victor Mella. Thus, Henderson will miss tonight’s game while serving his one-game suspension. This is the home opener for the Rapids.
