Tustin Ekes Out Win Over Westminster

Tustin relied on Danny Trujillo and Richard Lane for its runs, including the game-winner in the bottom of the seventh, in a 2-1 victory over Westminster, in a Golden West League game Friday at Tustin.

In the seventh, Trujillo was hit by a pitch and later scored on Lane’s one-out single.

In the first, Lane’s single drove in Trujillo for the Tillers. Westminster (9-3, 3-2) tied the score in the fourth.

Chad Chop (4-1) picked up the victory, pitching the top of the seventh, for the Tillers (8-3, 3-2).
