Superintendent’s Ouster a Waste

* Re “Huntington Beach School District Ousts Superintendent,: Feb. 27: What a waste of money! What kind of fiscal responsibility to the taxpayer does spending $200,000 to buy out a superintendent’s contract over a “difference in management philosophy” demonstrate?
They’ll probably spend another $100,000 on a search for a new superintendent. It seems only yesterday that this Board of Trustees was quoted describing this superintendent’s vision for the district when they hired him.
How many politicians at city, county and state levels did their internship on the Huntington Beach Union High School District board? Too many, if you ask me.
