Museum Selects Interim Director

The Gull Wings Children’s Museum has named Leana Bowman as interim director of operations, replacing former Executive Director Doreen Lacy, museum officials said Monday.
Bowman is a mother of four and a longtime volunteer for her children’s school and softball teams, museum officials said. She also has written and produced two children’s albums and founded a meal program for the homeless.
The Gull Wings Museum, 418 W. 4th St., features interactive exhibits for children. It is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 1 to 5 p.m. For more information, call 483-3005.
