Paglia on Abzug

Was it really necessary to publish Camille Paglia’s ill-timed views regarding Bella Abzug so soon after Abzug’s death (Commentary, April 6)? I have grown accustomed to Paglia’s insensitive nonsense, but for your paper to provide a forum for her was just too much. Like all of us, someday Paglia will pass into the great beyond. Can Times readers look forward to a similarly ungenerous obituary regarding her life’s work?
