Mom’s Credit Put to Ill Use, Police Say

An 18-year-old man pleaded not guilty to stealing his mother’s credit card to pay for his girlfriend’s $2,496 breast enlargement surgery, police said. Michael Copp took the card without the knowledge of his mother, Gaelene Pakrandt, police in Sheffield Lake, Ohio, said. His 18-year-old girlfriend has not been charged. Most items purchased with a stolen credit card are confiscated and returned by police.
