Duc Nguyen
Bolsa Grande, Senior; Basketball
Nguyen averaged 27 points and five assists in two league victories, including a 31-point performance to help end Los Amigos’ four-game winning streak, 66-53. He scored 13 points in the first quarter and made 13 of 16 free throws to help seal the victory. He had 23 points, nine rebounds and six assists in a 64-59 victory over La Quinta.

* Esperanza, senior. Scored three goals in two victories, including game-winner in 3-2 overtime victory over No. 5 Fountain Valley.
Jerry Inzunza/Basketball
* Troy, senior. Averaged 28 points in victories over Buena Park and Fullerton for the third-ranked Warriors.
Thomas Serna/Soccer
* Saddleback, senior. Scored eight goals for top-ranked Saddleback in two victories, giving him a school-record 35 this season.
