Service for Norman Topping

A public memorial service for former USC President Norman Topping is scheduled at 10 a.m. Feb. 18 in the Mayer Auditorium, 1975 Zonal Ave., at USC.
Topping, who has been called “the father of the modern USC,” died Nov. 18 at his Los Angeles home at 89. He was president of the university from 1958 to 1970 and chancellor until 1980.
