Barry, Fitch Shooting for Improvement
Clipper guard Brent Barry sat out his sixth consecutive game because of a heel injury, but he was able to shoot before the game.
“All I can do is shoot,” Barry said. “I’m going to try to shoot as much as possible until I get back.
“While everybody else is sipping margaritas during the All-Star break, I’ll be busy in the gym.
“I expect to play better in the second half of the season than I did in he first half.”

The Clippers, who have lost 22 of 26 road games, play only one road game in February.
“I don’t think the schedule can get much harder than it was,” Coach Bill Fitch said. “We’re going to try to turn things around in the second half. Of course it’s better to be at home than on the road.”
