San Diego 81, Loyola Marymount 76--Alex Parker scored 22 points and the Toreros overcame a 16-point first-half deficit to win a West Coast Conference game at San Diego.
Parker made eight of 11 shots including all three of his three-point attempts as the Toreros (11-11, 3-7) rebounded from a 27-11 deficit midway through the first half to trail, 41-38, at halftime.
Tthe Toreros made eight of 10 foul shots in the final two minutes to hold off the Lions (7-15, 3-7), who were led by Kenny Hotopp with 22 points.
St. Mary’s 73, Pepperdine 67--The Waves’ regular-season title hopes slipped even further as the Gaels used a balanced attack to win a WCC game at Moraga, Calif.
Eric Schraeder and David Sivulich scored 17 points apiece while Frank Knight added 11 for St. Mary’s (10-12, 5-5) rebounded from a loss Thursday to Loyola Marymount.
Pepperdine (13-9, 5-5) was led by Jelani Gardner with 15 points.
Cal State Northridge 87, Montana State 78--Jabari Simmons scored 23 points and Mike O’Quinn added 21 to lead the Matadors to an upset in a Big Sky game at Bozeman, Mont.
With the score tied, 71-71, with 3:35 to play, the Matadors (8-12, 4-6) scored on four consecutive possessions to take an insurmountable 80-73 lead on a three-pointer by O’Quinn with 1:25 to play.
The Bobcats fell to 17-6 and 9-3.
