Rats at City Hall

Who says The Times never prints good news? Not true! The Feb. 6 story about the rats in City Hall East is the harbinger of great news. Since the Los Angeles County Health Department closes restaurants and harasses landlords for less serious conditions, I am sure that inspectors will soon be closing down City Hall. Hallelujah!

In German-speaking countries the city hall is known as the Rathaus (“rat” being German for advice). Wouldn’t that name suit our own City Hall perfectly!
