In Division II:
Fountain Valley’s Masumoto wins--Brian Masumoto of Fountain Valley recorded a 5-3 overtime victory over Rigo Pinon of Newport Harbor in the 119-pound final in Westlake.
In Division III:
Santa Ana wins--Santa Ana finished with 173 points and Laguna Hills finished second with 101.5 points at Chino Hills Ayala. Arroyo Grande was third 99.5.
For Santa Ana, Jose Najera won the 114-pound championship match, beating Tido Lacayo of Corona Centennial, 4-0. Other Santa Ana champions were Jose Leon (121) and Steve Avalos (142), who was named the lower-weight MVP.
