Officer Will Work to Bust Drug Labs

Police Officer Mike Reynolds will serve as Garden Grove’s assignment to the newly formed Orange County Pro-Active Methamphetamine Laboratory Investigative Team.
Reynolds, who has worked as a narcotics officer for more than ayear, has the expertise to serve on the task force, Garden Grove Police Capt. Dave Abrecht said.
Meth labs are a growing concern in Garden Grove. Explosions and fires are not uncommon in making methamphetamines.
Among other assistance, the task force is expected to help prevent lab operators from opening new facilities after an arrest.
