A Dress Rehearsal Needed?

A couple minutes into Tuesday night’s game against Tennessee, USC Coach Henry Bibby tried to put senior Gary Williams into the game. When Williams yanked off his warm-up jacket, he discovered he was wearing only a T-shirt.

He bolted to the locker room to retrieve his jersey and checked into the game several minutes later.

The Trojans have squandered their trips to the free-throw line during their five-game losing streak. In Tuesday’s loss to Tennessee, USC made 12 of 21 free throws (57.1%). In the last four games, the Trojans have made only 50% of their free throws, 26 of 52.
