Turnbull helped San Clemente win the Las Vegas Cheyenne tournament, tallying 16 points and nine rebounds in a 58-47 victory over Ventura Buena in the final. Turnbull also averaged 20 points and 11 rebounds to help the Tritons post two victories in the opening rounds of the Marina tournament.
