MONTANA STATE (10-3, 2-0) at CAL STATE NORTHRIDGE (4-8, 0-2), 7 p.m.--After two consecutive defeats, Northridge faces the Big Sky Conference’s hottest team. Montana State beat Idaho State, 100-58, Monday, while the Matadors were losing to Eastern Washington, 85-77. At least the Matadors are home, where they are 3-0. Northridge gives up a conference-high 84 points a game. Freshman guard Carl Holmes has been the most consistent player, and he averages 10.6 points. The Bobcats are strong inside with 6-8 center Nate Holmstadt and 6-6 forward Damon Ollie. Guard Danny Sprinkle and Ollie each average 15 points.
