Former Times Exec Joining Fleishman-Hillard

Carol Stogsdill, former senior editor and vice president of the Los Angeles Times, is joining Fleishman-Hillard Inc., an international communications consulting firm. Stogsdill has been named a senior vice president in Fleishman-Hillard’s California public affairs practice group. She will be based in Los Angeles. Stogsdill was a journalist for more than 25 years, the last 10 years at The Times. As senior editor and vice president since January 1993, Stogsdill directed the expansion of the Valley and Ventura county editions of The Times and the newspaper’s Pulitzer Prize-winning earthquake coverage in 1994.
