UCLA Overcomes Big Deficit

Forward Maylana Martin led four UCLA double-figure scorers with 16 points and the Bruins overcame a 15-point halftime deficit in a 76-72 victory over Oregon State in a Pacific 10 game Thursday night at Corvallis, Ore.
Center Janae Hubbard had 14 points for UCLA, 7-5 overall and 2-1 in conference. Reserves Aisha Veasley and Takiyah Jackson had 12 and 10, respectively.
Oregon State (5-7, 0-3) also had four double-figure scorers led by guard Monica Watts, who had 18 points.

Forward Brianne Meharry had 24 points and 14 rebounds to lead Oregon to a 79-65 victory over USC in the Pacific 10 game at Eugene, Ore.
Meharry made nine of 13 shots for Oregon, which shot 52.7% to improve to 6-5 overall and 2-1 in conference.
Forward Tiffany Washington, who made eight of 12 shots, and guard Kristin Clark both had 19 points for USC (6-6, 1-2).
