Hotel Director Shot to Death

The director of the Rossiya Hotel, Moscow’s largest and once the world’s biggest hotel, was shot dead in an apparent contract killing, police said. Yevgeny Tsimbalistov, 49, was shot twice with a handgun as he walked out of his apartment building, police said. His predecessor also was slain.
