Yachmenev Leads Ice Dogs

ROSEMONT, Ill. — Vitali Yachmenev, on loan from the Kings, scored two goals and Andrei Vasilyev had one goal and two assists as the Long Beach Ice Dogs beat the Chicago Wolves, 3-2, Sunday.
The Ice Dogs (26-14-6), who lost to Chicago, 2-1, on Saturday night, took over sole possession of second place in the Southwest Division and handed the Wolves (31-10-2) only their fifth loss in 21 home games.
