Body of Woman Wrapped in Blanket Found in Alley

The body of a woman was found wrapped in a blanket in an alley behind the 100 block of Prospect Avenue, police said.
Residents returning home shortly before midnight Saturday spotted the body, described by authorities as an African American woman in her late 30s to early 40s.
The woman appeared to have been shot to death, but an autopsy was pending.
