San Clemente Bank Robbed of $2,687

SAN CLEMENTE — No one was injured Tuesday afternoon as a lone man robbed a Wells Fargo bank, authorities said.
The man walked into the bank branch at 601 El Camino Real about 11:25 a.m. and handed the teller a note demanding $3,500, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department reported.
She handed over $2,687, and the man ran outside and fled in a small silver pickup, authorities said. No weapon was seen.
The robber is described as white, in his early to mid-20s, with light-brown hair, about 6-foot-1 220 pounds, wearing a Lakers baseball cap, a black jacket and pants and a white T-shirt, officials said.
