Mountain Climber to Retell Peak Experience

Author and mountain climber Sue Cobb, the first woman to attempt to scale Mt. Everest, will be the pulpit guest Sunday for the Crystal Cathedral’s morning services.
During the 9:30 and 11 a.m. services, Cobb, who wrote the book “Edge of Everest” about her adventure on the famed peak, will share how she found strength and courage through her faith.
Visitors are welcome and child care and Sunday school are available. The cathedral is at 12141 Lewis St. Information: (714) 971-4000.
