Sunstone Hotel Shows Soaring Room Revenue

SAN CLEMENTE — Sunstone Hotel Investors Inc. said its room revenue for the fourth quarter more than tripled, to $35.1 million from $10.4 million a year ago.
Sunstone, a real estate investment trust, attributed the increase to the completion of $441 million of hotel acquisitions in the preceding 12 months. Sunstone said same-unit revenue per available room rose 7.7% from a year ago.
