Michael Plisky has been unanimously elected president of the Oxnard Harbor District Board of Commissioners.
It is the former Oxnard city councilman’s first stint as the head of the body that oversees the Port of Hueneme, the largest water port between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Plisky, who was elected to the board in 1994, replaces Jess Ramirez in the post, which rotates among the five-member panel on an annual basis.
Jess Herrera was elected board vice president.
