When Live Oaks Aren’t Oaks at All

It is ironic that developers destroy natural habitats, only to give the resulting buildings rural sounding names such as Live Oaks Plaza.
If we do not make wiser choices regarding Orange County’s few remaining open spaces, our children will associate these names not with trees, but with places to shop.
