Bullfrogs Stay Undefeated by Rallying to Beat Orlando

The Bullfrogs scored the final four goals in regulation and went on to beat Orlando in a shootout to win, 6-5, in a matchup of Major League Roller Hockey’s only two undefeated teams Saturday in Orlando.
Bill Lund, Glen Stewart, Mark Woolf and Taj Melson scored in the shootout that the Bullfrogs won, 4-3.
In the shootout, Woolf’s score put the Bullfrogs up, 3-2, but Jamie Cooke tied it, 3-3, for Orlando (7-1).
Melson then put the Bullfrogs ahead, 4-3, and goalie Rob Laurie stopped Alex Alepin to end the game.
The Bullfrogs’ Darren Colbourne (two goals) forced the shootout when he scored with 10 seconds left in regulation. The Bullfrogs used an extra attacker in the final minute of regulation.
Woolf also had two goals and Darren Perkins scored once for the Bullfrogs (8-0), who trailed, 5-1, at the half. Anaheim is 3-0 on the trip.
Five different players scored for Orlando including Kyle Reeves who leads the league with 22 goals.
