Beach Cleanup Is Set for Saturday

Volunteers will clean up Corona del Mar State Beach on Saturday.
The work is sponsored by Allergan Inc., a pharmaceutical company in Irvine. The beach is at Ocean Boulevard and Marguerite Avenue. Anyone interested in removing trash from the shores is invited to participate.
Allergan employees spend one weekend a month from May to September on community projects, said Christine J. Garber, a senior paralegal with the company.
Cleanup begins at 9 a.m. Parking is free for drivers who mention the Adopt-a-Beach program to the lot attendant. Information: (714) 966-7711.
