Seminars to Offer Tips to Inventors

Two workshops at Orange Coast College this month will give inventors tips on how to patent their devices, get them produced and sold.
The first session, “From Patent to Profit: All About Patents and Strategy,” will be July 21. The second, “Mass-Produce and Make Money From Your Invention,” will be July 28.
The instructor is Bob DeMatteis, an advisor for the National Congress of Inventor Organizations.
Both sessions will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Room 111 of OCC’s Counseling and Admissions Building. Registration fee is $39 for one session or $69 for both, plus an optional materials fee.
Participants may register at OCC’s Community Education Office adjacent to the campus library. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays.
