Job Corps Opens Its First O.C. Office

Job Corps, a federally funded service that offers job training and placement for disadvantaged youths age 16 to 24, recently opened its first Orange County office, at 114 E. 19th St.
Administered by the U.S. Department of Labor, Job Corps has helped about 1.7 million people nationwide since it was established in 1964.
Jobs Corps students can receive training, earn wages while they study and receive job placement assistance upon graduation.
