While driving past Royal High School in Simi Valley I read on its marquee about school being out and a bold statement: “Live at da Beach.”
Now this may be a cute saying for some beach store at the mall or on MTV, but isn’t this just a little inappropriate on a school’s marquee?
Shouldn’t the schools constantly be trying to elevate individuals to the highest levels of grammar and spelling and not reducing them to the lowest common denominators?
To the administration of Royal High: I know it’s picky. But why aren’t you?
