Workshop for First-Time Home Buyers to Be Held

Potential homeowners can attend a workshop tonight to learn requirements for joining the city’s program to help low- to moderate-income families buy their first homes.
The city is arranging low-interest loans for first-time buyers to make larger down payments so they can minimize the amount of money they need to borrow from financial institutions, said city spokeswoman Celia Andrade.
The workshop will be held at 7 p.m. in the Recreation and Community Services Building, 6767 Passons Blvd.
