Vigilantes Rally in 9th to Beat Reno

The Vigilantes scored four runs in the top of the ninth to defeat the Reno Chukars, 6-5, in a Western Baseball League game Wednesday in Reno.

Brad Gennero’s single with the bases loaded scored the tying and winning runs for the Vigilantes (5-7).

Reno (7-5) scored two runs in the fourth, two in the fifth and one in the eighth to take a 5-2 lead.

Steve Ceterko (1-0) gave up no hits in 1 1/3 innings to get the victory.
