“I just got back from Canada, where I tasted a 1995 Pinot Noir Reserve from a winery called Blue Mountain in Okanagon, a wine region in British Columbia, east of Vancouver. It was absolutely gorgeous. It blew me away they could make Pinot Noir so good. It was in a Burgundian style, with good texture, very expressive fruit and a nice long finish unusual for wines coming from that latitude.”
