Perhaps the most powerful hitter in the county, he was equally effective from the front or back row. Helped a young team finish second in the Sunset League.

A broken finger hampered him during the final month, but the fiery competitor still proved he was county’s best. When Nelson was setting, the Sailors did not lose a match.

The 6-5 Stanford-bound Skacel played his best in the biggest matches of the season. County’s best all-around player won his second consecutive section title.

A great all-around player, he helped the Vikings win the Sunset League. An effective hitter in front or back who complements it with good passing and defensive skills.

Proficient attacker from the middle, he complemented Skacel. Intense competitor showed defensive mettle in championship drive with his blocking and passing.

His team endured early-season injuries and peaked in the postseason. Rapp got his team to commit to defense, passing and hustle, and the result was a section title.
