Iraq

I object to the appearance of the recent article (March 13) concerning public opinion in Iraq. There is no way that a foreign journalist can get an accurate impression of the public’s true thoughts and feelings on political matters in a country where political dissent is routinely silenced by torture and murder. Would The Times have published a piece trying to assess the true feelings of Germans toward their government in 1938?
