Musicians Sought for Disney Symphony

Outstanding musicians between the ages of 8 and 12 can audition this week for one of 82 positions in Disney’s Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra, which will be made up of students from around the country and from England.
The orchestra will perform at Chicago’s Ravinia Festival on July 3; that performance will air Aug. 1 on cable’s Disney Channel.
Local auditions will be held through today from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day at Mt. Saint Mary’s College, 12001 Chalon Road.
